About the Creators
Leona Prince (she/her) is Indigenous from Lake Babine Nation and Nak’azdli Whut’en; Lhts’umusyoo (Beaver) Clan; a descendant of Chief Kwah and Stiche. She resides in Burns Lake, BC, and is an award-winning educator and experienced District Principal of Aboriginal Education for School District 91 (Nechako Lakes).
Gabrielle Prince (she/her) is an Indigenous author from Lake Babine Nation and Nak’azdli Whut’en and belongs to the Likh Tsa Mis Yu (Beaver) Clan. She studies science and is co-owner of publishing company Fireweed Canada Education Inc. She resides in Lake Babine Nation, British Columbia.
Carla Joseph (she/her) is an award-winning Indigenous artist; Cree/Métis from Prince George, BC now living in Chilliwack.
